LAFAYETTE — Louisiana-Lafayette’s northernmost outpost added another member to its ranks Monday when the Green Bay Packers signed defensive lineman Justin Hamilton to their practice squad.

Hamilton joins former teammates Alonzo Harris and Christian Ringo in Green Bay. The Packers also had former Cajuns receiver James Butler on their roster before waiving him in the preseason.

Hamilton and Ringo, who formed a highly productive partnership during their Cajuns careers, are working with the Packers’ practice squad, and Harris is on the active roster.

Buffalo signed Hamilton after the draft, but he was released during the Bills’ final round of roster cuts.

Hamilton will wear No. 94.
