St. Augustine’s Jeremiah West becomes sixth commitment in Cajuns 2017 class _lowres

LAFAYETTE — The Louisiana-Lafayette football team picked up its sixth commitment for its 2017 signing class in St. Augustine cornerback Jeremiah West Friday.

The 6-foot-1 West announced his commitment on Twitter Friday afternoon. According to the recruiting service 247Sports, West also held scholarship offers from Tulane and Arkansas.

Of the six commitments in the Cajuns 2017 class, five play on the defensive side of the ball, and West is the fourth who is projected to play in the defensive backfield.
