Ragin' Cajuns set tip off time for WBI semifinal game against Oral Roberts for Thursday at 6 p.m. _lowres

The Ragin' Cajuns women's basketball game against Oral Roberts in the Women's Basketball Invitational semifinals on Thursday will tip off at 6 p.m. at the Earl K. Long Gym.

The game will pit No. 2-seeded Ragin' Cajuns (21-12) and No. 5-seeded Oral Roberts (18-15) with the winner advancing to the WBI Championship game against Siena or Mercer. A win by the Ragin' Cajuns would guarantee a home game for the Ragin’ Cajuns with the championship game scheduled for Sunday at 4 p.m.

The Ragin' Cajuns, making their first-ever appearance in the WBI, earned wins over UT Pan American (78-56) and McNeese State (63-58). Oral Roberts defeated Sun Belt Conference opponent Texas State, 57-54, on March 18 before knocking off top-seeded New Mexico, 63-61, on Monday.
