LAFAYETTE — Kickoff for Saturday’s game between UL-Lafayette and Appalachian State has been moved to 1 p.m., the university announced.
It is the Ragin’ Cajuns’ final home game of the season. The teams were originally scheduled to play at 4 p.m. Saturday but moved the start time because of the weather forecast.
According to the National Weather Service, Saturday calls for a 60-percent chance of precipitation, with “showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly after noon. Some of the storms could be severe.”
The Cajuns (7-3, 6-0 Sun Belt) are looking to extend their winning streak to seven games.
Appalachian State (5-5, 4-2), in its first season as a Sun Belt member, has won four in a row.
According to a university release, fans can buy half-price general-admission tickets for $10 at the Cajundome Box Office or at RaginCajuns.com.
