There will be scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms Tuesday, WBRZ meteorologist Dave Nussbaum says in the station’s daily weather blog.

Heavy rain is likely due to all the deep tropical moisture in place with rainfall totals possibly reaching 1 inch to 3 inches in a few areas.

Due to the recent rains, the National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch until 7 p.m. Tuesday.

The clouds and rain will keep the temperatures down as they climb into the upper 80s.

The clouds and some showers will linger Tuesday night.

It will be very warm and muggy with lows in the mid 70s Tuesday night.
