The section of St. Louis Street that crosses North Boulevard Town Square in downtown Baton Rouge will be closed to traffic for approximately 41/2 hours Wednesday in order to film a food show.
Andrew Zimmern, who has food shows on the Travel Channel, will tape a segment for his new http://www.MSN.com and Travel Channel show, “Appetite for Life With Andrew Zimmern,” which will feature a jambalaya cook-off between two previous winners of the Jambalaya Festival World Championships in Gonzales.
The portion of St. Louis Street that crosses North Boulevard Town Square will close to traffic at 10:30 a.m. and reopen at 3 p.m. The eastbound and westbound lanes of North Boulevard will remain open during filming, but parking along North Boulevard in the Town Square area will be restricted.
