Serenading the day
Megan Barrera, an LSU doctoral student in Musical Arts and Vocal Performance, spent part of her Valentine’s Day delivering serenades for people in Baton Rouge.
Barerra performed songs from Mozarts’ opera ‘The Marriage of Figaro’ and ‘Showboat’ for Opera Louisiane which offers the serenades not only at Valentine’s Day, but throughout the year , as a unique way to say ‘I Love You.’
