The LSU Energy Center’s Energy Summit 2011 on Tuesday, Oct. 18, will focus on unconventional plays in Louisiana, including discussions of the Tuscaloosa Marine Shale and liquefied natural gas exports.
Speakers include Harry Livingston, exploration manager for Devon Energy Corp.’s southern new ventures group; and Pat Outtrim, vice president, governmental affairs, for Cheniere Energy.
The event, scheduled from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., will be held in the LSU Energy, Coast & Environment Building’s rotunda conference area. Parking will be reserved for guests.
