During the second quarter, Ormet had $5.8 million in expenses associated with restarting its Burnside alumina refinery, the company reported Tuesday.

Ormet also reported a $22.9 million gain for selling its Burnside marine terminal to Trafigura.

The Burnside transactions were part of Ormet’s second-quarter earnings report. Ormet reported a net profit of $94.9 million, or $5.10 per share.

Trafigura has said it expects to spend $100 million to get the terminal up and running again.
