Lafayette-based PetroQuest Energy Inc. boosted its proved reserves by 37 percent during 2011, ending the year with the equivalent of 265 billion cubic feet of oil and gas reserves.

Of the proved reserves, 91 percent are natural gas, 3 percent are oil and 6 percent are natural gas liquids. The company’s 2011 production was the equivalent of 30.2 billion cubic feet of natural gas, or 82.7 million cubic feet per day.

PetroQuest replaced around 340 percent of the reserves produced during the year, with replacement costs averaging $1.64 per thousand cubic feet.
