The 7th annual Red Stick International Animation Festival will be held in downtown Baton Rouge Friday through Sunday with a variety of cutting-edge films, according to co-founder Stephen Beck.
In addition a Cartoon-A-Palooza on Saturday will feature face painting, clowns, balloon artists and other family activities.
On Sunday, a special screening of Disney/Pixar’s BRAVE will be held at 2 p.m.
The event is sponsored by the Laboratory for Creative Arts & Technologies (LCAT), a research facility within LSU’s Center for Computation & Technology, or CCT.
