The Baton Rouge area will be the site of 11 Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants by 2018, according to Dunkin’ Brands Group Inc., parent company of Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin-Robbins.

Three of the restaurants will be developed by AJP Co. The first store will open next year and the other two will be completed by 2014.

Nice Foods Limited LLC plans eight Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants, with the first opening next year. The remaining seven are to be open by 2018.

Dunkin’ Brands also announced plans for four Dunkin’ Donuts in New Orleans by 2016 and two more Baskin-Robbins locations next year.

Southwest Investment Group LLC plans to open 10 Dunkin’ Donuts stores in Shreveport by 2018.

Dunkin’ Donuts is also seeking new and existing franchise owners to develop restaurants in Lafayette, New Orleans, Lake Charles, Monroe and Alexandria.

“The state of Louisiana has been a priority growth market for Dunkin’ Brands in 2011 and we’re excited to expand our footprint in Baton Rouge, Shreveport and New Orleans,” Grant Benson, Dunkin’ Brands vice president of franchising and market planning, said in a news release.
