Two men in the 3200 block of Elm Street were shot in the leg Sunday evening, according to the Baton Rouge Police Department.

At about 9 p.m., police officers arrived at 3212 Elm Street after getting a call about shots being fired in the area. A man was found inside the home with one gunshot wound in his leg, and witnesses told officers that another victim was on his way to the hospital with some friends, the police said in a news release. The two victims, ages 23 and 17, did not have life-threatening injuries, police said.
