Three West Feliciana Parish work release inmates who escaped from their dorm Thursday morning have been caught, authorities said.

The three men escaped just after midnight but two of the three surrendered at 5 a.m. after the jail warden got information that they had a cellular phone, West Feliciana Parish Sheriff Austin Daniel said.

The warden called the sister of one of the inmates who told him the trio had a phone, Daniel said. The warden called the cell phone and two of the three men decided to surrender after talking with the warden, Daniel said.

The third inmate was caught near some bushes near La. 61, Daniel said.

Termel Scott, 20, and Lakron Scott, 21, surrendered after the phone call, Daniel said. The third inmate, Oshay Roberts, 22, was caught at 6:30 a.m., Daniel said.
