The Capital Area Animal Welfare Society will host its 17th annual Santa CAAWS pet photos from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 13 at Harley Davidson of Baton Rouge, 5853 Siegen Lane. This fundraiser for CAAWS gives pet owners a chance to have their pet’s photo taken with Santa Claus. In past years, people have had photos taken of their dogs, cats, rats, snakes, birds and even goats, according to a press release from CAAWS. Refreshments will be available, as well as pet-themed gifts and merchandise.

CAAWS is a private, volunteer, nonprofit organization devoted to the prevention of animal suffering and overpopulation.
