Police have booked a third suspect in the Friday armed robbery of a Raising Cane’s restaurant on Government Street, according to a Baton Rouge Police Department news release.
Terrance Ardell Jones, 19, 137 Julia Drive, Avondale, surrendered to police officers late Wednesday night after learning he was wanted for the robbery. Jones was later booked on one count of armed robbery, according to the release.
Brandon Anthony Daggs, 21, 424 Butler St., New Orleans, has already been booked on one count of armed robbery, Police Cpl. Tommy Stubbs said Wednesday.
The two men, one armed with a handgun, entered Raising Cane’s at 5020 Government St., at about 11:20 a.m. Friday, grabbed money from the cash registers and fled in a gold Dodge Neon, police have said.
Police arrested Shakeria Clay, 19, on Friday.
Clay is accused of leaving the restaurant’s door open so the two men could rob it, according to an affidavit of probable cause.
Stubbs confirmed that Clay is an employee of the restaurant.
