Road improvements to Siegen Lane, part of the city-parish’s Green Light Plan of projects, have been completed, according to a city-parish.

With a total construction cost of $13.2 million, the improvements to Siegen Lane include the widening of the previous two-lane undivided roadway to a new four-lane curb and gutter roadway configuration with a raised median and sidewalks on both sides of the roadway from Highland Road to a point 650-feet south of Perkins Road.

Improvements also include a re-aligned intersection with new traffic signals at North Oak Hills Parkway and Briar Hollow Avenue, the installation of new sewer force main along the full length of the project limits, and a storm drainage system that replaces the previous roadside ditches.
