Baton Rouge police were investigating a Sunday night shooting at Brandywine Condominiums on 10950 Darryl Drive, a police spokeswoman said.

One victim, a 46-year-old male, was taken to a hospital after officers found him in the parking lot around 9:30 p.m. after he had been shot once, Police Capt. Joan Cage said in a news release.

The victim was arguing with another man in the parking lot when the other man pulled out a gun and shot him, Cpl. Tommy Stubbs said Monday morning.

The victim was hit in the face, reportedly in the chin, but is expected to live, Stubbs said.
