Anyone with unwanted or unused prescription drugs can safely dispose of their medications Saturday, when Baton Rouge authorities participate in National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.

Medications can be dropped off confidentially from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with no questions asked, according to a news release from State Police.

Authorities ask that identifying information be removed from medicine bottles prior to being dropped off at the following locations in Baton Rouge:

• Troop A headquarters, 17801 Highland Road.

• Baton Rouge Police Department 3rd District Precinct, 11010 Coursey Blvd.

• Baton Rouge Police Department 1st District Precinct, 4445 Plank Road.

• Ochsner Health Center, Physicians Plaza 1, 16777 Medical Center Drive.
