Saturday is the last day of early voting for the April 21 election, which in East Baton Rouge Parish includes the Capital Area Transit System property tax proposal.
Residents in the city limits of Baton Rouge, Baker and Zachary can vote on the CATS tax proposal. Residents in Central and in unincorporated areas of the parish cannot vote on the CATS tax proposal.
Early voting hours are 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Registered voters in East Baton Rouge Parish can vote at following locations of the Registrar of Voters Office:
Main Office: Governmental Building, 222 St. Louis St., Room 201.
Southeast Office: Court Plaza Building, 10500 Coursey Blvd., Room 203.
Baker Office: Motor Vehicle Building, 2250 Main St.
Satellite Office: Secretary of State Archives Building, 3851 Essen Lane.
Early voters should bring a Louisiana driver’s license, a Louisiana special identification card or some other recognized photo identification.
