The annual Friends of the LSU Libraries’ 2013 Book Bazaar will be held Feb. 28 through March 2 at the 4-H Mini-Farm and Nelson Memorial buildings at LSU.

Hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Feb. 28 and March 1, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on March 2.

This year’s sale will feature more than 68,000 books, as well as an ample collection of CDs, DVDs, sheet music and vinyl record albums. Admission is free. Plenty of parking is available.

The 2013 Book Bazaar is dedicated to the memory of two vital members of the Book Barn: Patricia Boyet Millican, one of seven founding members of the Friends of the LSU Libraries and co-treasurer of countless Book Bazaars, and Zelda Klein Long, long-time committee member and dedicated Book Barn volunteer. Long is best known for her work at the art table.

The 2013 Book Bazaar will offer books in dozens of categories, from contemporary fiction and non-fiction to rare and collectible books, all at a fraction of the retail price. Of special interest this year is the new Hardback Fiction Annex in the Nelson Memorial Building. With more than 600 square feet of added space, the Hardback Fiction Annex will be the place to find near-new hardback fiction at bargain prices.
