There will be partly cloudy skies with scattered showers and thunderstorms Monday, WBRZ meteorologist Dave Nussbaum says in the station’s daily weather blog.

Some of the storms could become strong with gusty winds, heavy rain, hail and plenty of lightning.

It will become very hot and humid before the storms pop up with high temperatures in the upper 90s. The heat index will be around 105 degrees.

The storms will continue into the evening hours before they dissipate overnight. Then there will be partly cloudy skies with lows in the upper 70s.
