New Orleans — Nicolae Condrea, archbishop of the Romanian Orthodox Archdiocese in the Americas, will preside at Divine Liturgy at 10 a.m. Sunday at Holy Trinity Cathedral Greek Orthodox Church, 1200 Robert E. Lee Blvd.

Condrea, who was born in Constanta, Romania, was admitted to the Andrei Saguna Faculty of Theology in Sibiu, Romania. He was a professor of theology in Bucharest and was awarded a doctor of theology degree from Marc Bloch University in Strasbourg, France.

In the spring of 1997 he was ordained a deacon, then a priest and took his monastic vows at the Monastery of Radu Voda in Bucharest.
