Wednesday will be humid which will bring back the threat for isolated showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon with partly cloudy skies, WBRZ meteorologist Dave Nussbaum says in the station’s daily weather blog.

Some of the storms will come from a disturbance, or cold pocket of air aloft, that will move down from Mississippi. It will be hot with highs in the upper 90s and the heat index will be around 105 degrees at times.

Some clouds will linger across the city Wednesday and it will be muggy with low temperatures in the 70s.
