The No. 1 Tigers battle the No. 2 Crimson Tide for the second time this season, each team looking for the national college football title.

Monday night’s game marks the 76th meeting of the two teams but the first time for a national championship.

The BCS National Championship Game kicks off at 7:30 p.m. in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.

The game will be broadcast on ESPN and WDGL-FM, 98.1.
