There will be partly cloudy skies with isolated showers and thunderstorms Friday with highs in the mid to upper 90s, WBRZ meteorologist Dave Nussbaum says in the station’s daily weather blog.
The heat index will be around 105 to 110 degrees at times. The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for all of southeast Louisiana until 7 p.m. Friday.
Any showers will dissipate Friday night and we will be left with mostly clear skies.
It will stay very warm and humid with lows in the upper 70s.
