BREC summer camp registration for East Baton Rouge Parish residents begins April 14 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and on April 24 at 3 p.m. for out-of-parish residents.

Parents or guardians may register in person at the facility of their choice or online at select locations.

This summer, BREC offers athletic camps, extreme sports skate camp and BMX camp, golf camps, exclusive recreation camps for children with mental and developmental disabilities, recreation camps and outdoor adventure camps at Greenwood Community Park.

BREC also offers special interest summer camps at the Baton Rouge Gallery, Baton Rouge Zoo, Bluebonnet Swamp Nature Center, Farr Park Equestrian Center, Highland Road Park Observatory, Independence Park Theatre and Magnolia Mound Plantation.

BREC provides camp registration at select locations through Webtrac, an online registration system. Patrons are able to register online from their home or office. Those who have never used BREC online registration before must make a login request on http://www.brec.org/webtrac no later than April 11. Beginning April 14 at 9 a.m., parish residents can visit the website and register their children for select locations using a Visa, MasterCard or Discover credit or debit card. Out-of-parish residents can begin registering online on April 24 at 3 p.m. BREC encourages parents or guardians to pre-register early by setting up a “household” on Webtrac. BREC must approve all households at least 48 hours before registration begins on April 14.

If registrants are not sure if they have an account, they can send an email to webtrac@brec.org and a BREC staff member will respond as soon as possible.
