A woman accused of stabbing her live-in boyfriend in the torso during a March 10 argument has been arrested, according to a warrant.
Simone Anderson, 42, 4944 Sherwood Forest Blvd., was booked Monday with attempted second-degree murder and domestic abuse battery by East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies, parish jail records show.
According to the warrant, Anderson and the victim, who both appeared intoxicated to witnesses, were arguing in their apartment at 4924 S. Sherwood Forest Blvd., Apt. 252, at 3 a.m.
The victim told deputies that he locked himself in their bedroom to get away from Anderson, but she busted the door in and threw what he said felt like boiling water on him, according to the warrant.
When the victim forced his way past Anderson in an attempt to leave the bedroom, Anderson charged at him with a large knife and stabbed him.
