The City of Central will hold three informational public meetings on the status of the city’s Master Plan, revisions to the street standards and the city’s new zoning code.

In addition, the city is starting the next phase of the master plan which will include developing a floodplain management program, a city center overlay district along Hooper Road, and a pattern and code design booklet. This work is being funded by a federal grant.

All meetings will be held at the central library at 11260 Joor Road and the public is encouraged to attend.

The meetings will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 9, 4:30 p.m. on Aug. 9 and 5 p.m. on Aug. 11, according to a press release from the city.
