LSU linebacker Kwon Alexander was drafted in the fourth round by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Saturday, sending him to a team coached by defensive guru Lovie Smith.
Alexander is the third LSU player taken in this draft after defensive back Jalen Collins and defensive end Danielle Hunter.
Alexander skipped his senior season to enter the draft.
A two-year starter at outside linebacker for the Tigers in 2013 and 2014, Alexander played in 32 games during his career, starting 23 times. He finished with 156 total tackles, 15 tackles for losses, 1.5 sacks, six pass breakups and seven QB hurries. He also forced three fumbles and recovered two fumbles.
