Police are investigating a Friday morning shooting that injured three people in the front yard of a home at 3212 Elm St., according to a Baton Rouge Police Department news release.

The shooting occurred around 12:36 a.m., the release says.

When officers arrived, they found one man and two women who had been shot in the yard, the release says.

All three of the victims were taken to a local hospital for their injuries, the release says.

Two of the victims were in stable condition while one was listed in critical condition, the release says.

The city’s Violent Crimes Division is investigating the shootings.
