Basketball team visits

College players have plenty to do year-round, practicing and serving as good role models for younger athletes and students.

The Ole Miss Lady Rebels basketball team will visit the New Orleans Public Library’s Central City Branch at 10 a.m. Wednesday to demonstrate their basketball skills on the court of the Mahalia Jackson Center. The library is at 2405 Jackson Ave.
