A Baton Rouge man accused of shooting and robbing another man in November on Alliquippa Street has been arrested.
Curtis Hamilton, 30, 4343 Denham St., was booked Wednesday by Baton Rouge police with attempted second-degree murder and armed robbery, East Baton Rouge Parish Prison records show.
According to an arrest warrant, the victim told police that Hamilton stopped the victim to talk to him when the victim was driving down Alliquippa Street on Nov. 19 at 9:47 p.m..
The victim told police Hamilton pointed a handgun at the victim and ordered him to lay on the ground, according to the warrant.
Hamilton then removed the victim’s tennis shoes, pants and shirt, shot the victim once in the buttocks and ran away with $200, the warrant says.
The victim knew Hamilton and later picked him out of a photo lineup, the warrant says.
