An 18-year-old Clinton woman was killed in a single car crash just before 2 a.m. Monday after she lost control of her 2006 Suzuki Reno on La. 37, north of Liberty Road, Louisiana State Police said.
Angela Robinson’s vehicle ran through a ditch and struck a tree, police said. She was not wearing her seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene by the East Baron Rouge Parish Coroner’s Office, police said in a news release.
Troopers do not suspect alcohol to have been a factor in this crash, the release said, however, a sample of Robinson’s blood has been submitted to the Louisiana State Police Crime Lab for chemical analysis.
