Kids Orchestra is offering camp programs to give students entering kindergarten through fifth grade an interactive experience with orchestral music this summer.

This innovative music camp will provide two full weeks of music lessons, music games and music appreciation as well as traditional camp activities.

Session one is June 1-5, and Session two is June 15-19. Each session is from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Episcopal High School, 3200 Woodland Ridge Blvd., Baton Rouge.

Students entering second through fifth grades can choose strings, woodwinds, brass or percussion. Students entering kindergarten and first grade can participate in foundations class. At the end of the week, families and friends attend a concert, where each instrument class will showcase their new musical skills by performing a short piece.

Tuition is $150 per week per student and includes daily lunch and snack, and a camp T-shirt. Space is limited, and each session sold out last summer. Register at kidsorchestra.org or call (225) 922-4656.
