The West Baton Rouge Museum in Port Allen has announced that Angélique Bergeron is the museum’s new curator of collections.
Bergeron, who will be responsible for collections management and the exhibitions program, received her master of arts degree and doctorate from LSU in French Studies. Her undergraduate work was completed at the University of Texas at Austin, where she earned a bachelor of arts degree in African and African American Studies.
Before joining the professional staff at the West Baton Rouge Museum, Bergeron was the executive director at the Pointe Coupee Historical Society.
