The Lafayette Science Museum Foundation’s Bach Lunch concert series will begin at noon Friday, Oct. 3, in Parc Sans Souci in downtown Lafayette at the corner of Polk, Congress and Vermilion streets.
The performance will feature the Nouveau String Band with food available for purchase by Teak’s Sports Bar & Grill and Bailey’s Seafood and Grill.
Other performances are set for:
? Friday, Oct. 10, featuring the Lafayette Rhythm Devils and food by Chris’ Po Boys, The French Press, Hub City Diner and Joey’s Specialty Foods.
? Friday, Oct. 17, featuring Soul Creole and food by Chick-Fil-A, Creole Lunch House and O’Charley’s Restaurant.
? Friday, Oct. 24, featuring Kevin Sekhani and food by Antoni’s Café, Poupart’s Bakery and Zea’s Rotisserie & Grill.
? Friday, Oct. 31, featuring Johanna Divine and food by Ema’s Cafe, iMonelli’s and Roly Poly.
? Friday, Nov. 7, featuring Les Freres Michot and food by Deano’s Pizza and Jefferson Street Pub.
The Bach Lunches take place during the spring and fall, when participants can eat and listen to the sounds of live music in an open-air venue. Guests are invited to bring their own lunch, as well as purchase one with proceeds benefitting the Lafayette Science Museum.
