The Baton Rouge Community College Theatre will present Tony E. Medlin’s one-person original production of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” Thursday through Sunday in the Magnolia Theater, 201 Community College Drive.
The Sunday matinee begins at 2 p.m. All other performances begin at 7:30 p.m.
Loved by both the young and young at heart, Dickens’ iconic Christmas story features the famous Ebeneezer Scrooge and the three ghosts who lead him through time and show him the error of his ways.
Medlin is an assistant professor of theater at BRCC. He has toured the United States and Canada performing as Scrooge in a musical version of the stage play. The show is free for BRCC students.
A donation of $5 or five nonperishable food items to benefit the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank is suggested for public admission.
