Thursday is the deadline for signing up for the LSU College of Music and Dramatic Arts’ Gold Pass, which allows ticket holders to choose their own package of eight events for $100 for the fall semester.
“This is the first year we’ve offered this package, and you don’t have to choose your events right away,” says Sheryl Spann, the college’s marketing director. “You go online and buy it first, then you’ll be given a code. You can go in and choose your events later and put the code in, which will mark that you’ve already paid.”
Patrons can change their minds and trade one event for another, and they can print out their tickets at home.
“There’s so much flexibility with this package,” Spann says. “And you’re getting a big discount when you package your events this way.”
Some of the events that can be included in the package are Swine Palace’s productions, the LSU Opera’s performances, jazz performances and concerts by instrumental ensembles. To purchase a Gold Pass, visit cmda.lsu.edu/events.
