The St. Tammany Art Association, 320 N. Columbia St., Covington, will open its 50th National Juried Artists Exhibition, the Summer Show, with a reception from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, July 11.

Artists’ awards will be presented at 7 p.m., and the show will run through Saturday, Aug. 8. Closing day will feature a gallery talk with juror Don Marshall and exhibiting artists. A “People’s Choice Award” also will be given at this time.

This year’s artists represent Louisiana and the southeast: Michael Aldana, Aron Belka, Christer Berg, Connie Born, Tom Bowden, Frances Carville, Blake Conroy, William Crowell, Jason Cytacki, Ariel Diaz, Shirley Doiron, Sarah Dunn, Robert Dutruch, Leslie Elliott-Smith, Russell Everett, Shirley Fachilla, Oksana Fogg, Jan Gephardt, Susan Gilbert, Charles Gudaitis, Adam Hall, Joyce Hensley, Mary Hesse, Kenneth Hopel, Morgan Maiolie, Miguel Malagon, Demond Matsuo, Molly McGuire, Heather Mitchell, Mary Monk, Martin Needom, Megan Perra, Monique Perry, Jerry Rawlings, Madelyn Robillard, Phillip Sage, Lynn Savarese, Crimson Shults, Melissa Smith, Archie Tucker, Robert Warrens and Laure Williamson.

This year, more than $3,000 in cash awards will be presented at the opening.
