The LSU Museum of Art will host its 10th annual Fourth of July Celebration, “Red, White & the BLUES,” from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, July 4, at Tsunami, on the sixth floor of the Shaw Center for the Arts, 100 Lafayette St., in downtown Baton Rouge.

The event features live jazz, soul, blues and funk from Quiana Lynell, and guests can enjoy Southern BBQ with a nouvelle twist along with soft drinks and alcoholic beverages. Those in attendance also will have a front-row seat for the annual fireworks display over the Mississippi River, which takes place at 9 p.m.

Tickets are $125 each for LSU Museum of Art members, $150 for nonmembers and $50 for ages 5- 20. Children ages 4 and younger are admitted for free.

Tickets can be purchased by calling (225) 389-7210 or by visiting eventbrite.com. Cost includes admission to the LSU Museum of Art from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. to tour the “Visual Blues” exhibition. A portion of the ticket price is tax deductible and goes toward supporting the museum.
