The Amite Little Theatre and The Boston Restaurant are combining forces to present a performance of the romantic comedy “Love Letters.”
The performance is at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6, at the restaurant, 100 Northeast Central Ave., Amite.
Tickets are $40, or $65 for couples and include a dinner of tossed salad, chicken alfredo, stir-fry mixed vegetables, bread, dessert, ice tea and water.
“Love Letters” focuses on two friends, rebellious Melissa Gardner and straight-arrow Andrew Makepeace Ladd III, who have exchanged notes, cards and letters for more than 50 years. From second grade, through summer vacations, to college, and well into adulthood, they have spent a lifetime discussing their lives.
But long after the letters are done, the real question remains: have they made the right choices or is the love of their life only a letter away?
