‘SNL’s’ Jay Pharoah’s comedy tour stopping at LSU _lowres

“Saturday Night Live” cast member Jay Pharoah will bring his stand-up comedy show to the LSU Student Union Theater Wednesday, Sept. 23.

Pharoah is best known for his wide variety of celebrity impressions, including Barack Obama, Will Smith, Denzel Washington, Kanye West and recurring character of school principal Daniel Fry. Pharoah recently released a series of music videos through Above Average, including, “Bad Kisser,” a parody of Usher’s “Good Kisser” and “Problems.” Pharoah’s previous Kanye West parody “I Am a Dog” became an instant viral video with more than a million views within the first week.

His past feature film credits include “Ride Along” with Kevin Hart and Ice Cube, “Get a Job” with Bryan Cranston and Ana Kendrick, “Finally Famous” and “Intramural”.

LSU students may purchase tickets now for $10. Students must go to the LSU Student Union Box Office in person with a valid LSU student ID to receive the $10 ticket pricing. The LSU Student Union Box Office is located on the first floor of the LSU Student Union Theater.
