The LSU Tigers’ game against Eastern Michigan on Saturday was the culmination of a reunion weekend for the LSU Tiger Marching Band as alumni band members returned to campus to visit and march with the band at halftime.

The band’s videographer, Moe Athmann, captured some of this activity in his video, “LSU Tiger Band Inside the Lines.” Here, Athmann begins with Saturday morning rehearsal in LSU’s indoor football practice facility, zeroing in on band alumni, especially the baton-twirling Tigerettes, who celebrated their 50th anniversary during the reunion.

Athmann also places viewers on the field for a band’s eye view of “Pregame,” and highlights the Golden Girls, who were dressed in retro 1970s-’80s era uniforms in honor of their counterparts in the Tiger Alumni Band.

But the stars of this show are the alumni, themselves, who were conducted by Director Emeritus Frank Wickes while Tiger Band Director Roy King, also an alumnus, marched with his fellow alumni.
