I’ve had several requests for more make-ahead breakfast casseroles. With graduation and overnight guests visiting, these are nice to have in the refrigerator, ready to pop into the oven. This one is different because of the English muffins, and I think you will like that hint of smokiness from the Gouda cheese.

This particular recipe bakes at 325 degrees for about two hours, so you have plenty of time to get everything done and enjoy a couple of cups of coffee with your company.

This recipe can easily be halved.
