The Hammond Regional Arts Center will host the 2015 Culinary Arts Series at the Alack Culinary Equipment Superstory, 17420 U.S. 190, Hammond.
The event is a fundraiser for the center.
Chef Angelina Drago of ProStart kicked off the series May 4. Next up is chef Coy Mollega of Coy’s Custom Catering on June 8, followed by chef Michael Gulotta of MoPho on July 13, chef Tony Bosco of Bosco’s Cafe on Aug. 10, and chef Tommy Masaracchia of Tope La Restaurant on Sept. 14.
Each event begins with a cash bar at 6 p.m. and the chef’s presentation at 6:30 p.m.
The chef will prepare an appetizer, entree and dessert while demonstrating culinary techniques to the audience. Wine will be provided with each meal.
Tickets are $65 for members, $75 for nonmembers per dinner or $275 and $375, respectively, for all dinners. Group rates are available for full tables (seats eight) and half-tables.
