OCCUPATION: Assistant manager in retail.

Tell us about what you’re wearing.

“I’m wearing a one-shoulder blouse — one shoulder is really big right now. Black pants and black wedges with a floral detail that matches my blouse. Butterfly earrings and my John Hardy bracelets.”

Who most influences your style?

“Me. I’ve always been into fashion. Always, always. Out of the four girls in my family, I was always the one into it.”

What’s the best fashion advice you’ve ever given?

“Only embrace a trend if it’s good for your body type and your lifestyle. Stick with the classics.”

What do you consider classic wardrobe essentials?

“Black pants and a black skirt. A white blouse. A solid jacket and a tweed or print one. And, always, a little black dress, of course.”

What do you find yourself buying over and over again?

“Black. Black pants, black leggings. But I incorporate colors with them.”

What’s your favorite trend in fashion right now?

“I love the one-shoulder look.”

What trend do you wish was over?

“I’m not too thrilled about those blouses with the elastic at the bottom.”

Finish this sentence. I splurge on …

“Blouses and tops.”

I skimp on…

Are you a shoes or handbag kind of woman?

How many do you have?

“I don’t know. I’m a keeper, so I’d say at least 150.”

What’s the one beauty product you can’t live without?

“My lipstick. Peach silk.”

Your house is on fire and you can grab only one thing out of your closet. What would it be?

“All my Soma pajamas.”

Make us laugh. What was your biggest fashion mistake?

“It wasn’t really a mistake because it was the trend and everyone was doing it. But, oh, shoulder pads — gross.”
