The LSU AgCenter’s “Lunch and Learn” series at LaHouse, 2858 Gourrier Ave. (across the street from Alex Box Stadium), has been playing to packed houses this summer.

Horticulturist Kyle Huffsticker asks that people planning to attend Friday’s event on drip irrigation reserve seats by calling (225) 578-7913.

“We’re just trying to get a heads up,” Huffsticker said.

You may pay $5 for a lunch that includes vegetables grown in the LaHouse garden or bring your own lunch. Lunch is ready at 11:30 a.m.

Talks, which are free, are from noon to 1 p.m. For more information on LaHouse, go to http://www.LSUAgCenter.com/LaHouse.
