Tickets are on sale for two events in Café Reconcile New Orleans’ “Breaking Bread Together” fundraising series.

Sponsored by the Rusty Staub Foundation, the 3rd Annual Ladies Luncheon is set for Friday, Dec. 11, and the first “Merry Men’s Event” is Sunday, Dec. 13. Doors open at 10 a.m. both days at the nonprofit restaurant, 1631 Oretha Castle Haley Blvd.

The Ladies Luncheon includes a three-course menu, holiday cheer, carolers, cocktails, valet parking, and photos with Santa. The event is co-chaired by Grace Kaynor, Virginia Miller and Anne Redd.

The Merry Men’s Event, hosted by Mark Romig and Greg Reggio, will mix holiday festivities and Saints football. There will be gourmet tailgate fare, “manly” beverages, indoor tailgating, cigars and games. The event is sponsored by Abita Beer, Ruth’s Chris, Coors Light, Sazerac, Limousine Livery, SWEG’s Kitchen, NATCO, and Triple B’s Cajun Corner.

During both events, Café Reconcile will be transformed into a holiday boutique with shopping and gift-giving offerings, raffles and door prizes. The boutique is open to the public from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Dec. 12-13.

For individual tickets, to purchase a VIP table, or for more information, visit https://rnobreakbread.eventbrite.com or call (504) 934-1633. Proceeds from all events and 10 percent of all boutique sales will benefit Café Reconcile.

The nonprofit’s life skills and job training program assists young people (ages 16–22) from severely at-risk communities who desire to make a positive change in their lives.
