Support the LSU AgCenter’s Botanic Gardens and the Louisiana Culinary Institute by dining with local award-winning chefs at 7 p.m. Friday at the Burden Center, 4560 Essen Lane, Baton Rouge.

Gourmet in the Garden will be a progressive dinner around the Botanic Gardens, with tastings in the Orangerie, the Rose Garden and the Pavilion. Chefs will create signature dishes and mixologists will craft cocktails with farm products unique to Louisiana. A People’s Choice Award will be given for the best chef creations. There will also be a LCI cooking comeptition and music from the Rusty Yates Band.
